I'm Louise Wheeler, a 200hr certified Yoga instructor, with a specialism in yin yoga. My passion lies in helping students find balance and tranquility in their lives through mindful, slow-paced yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues and fascia of the body. With a foundation in yoga, positive psychology and a deep connection to nature, my intention is to create a nurturing environment for everyone.
Teaching Philosophy
In my classes, I emphasise the importance of listening to your body, working with your mind and within your range of motion (to strengthen not over-stress the body!) My passion is Yin Yoga, as it has had an amazing impact in helping me recover from injury, build more elasticity and joint mobility. If you join one of my classes, you will be invited to focus on:
Mindfulness and Stillness: Exploring how to stay present and find peace in stillness
Deep Stretching: Targeting your deep connective tissues and improving flexibility
Breath Awareness: Encouraging a deep connection between your breath and body

Within my psychology practice, I deliver resilience and well-being workshops, so I often blend these elements into my yoga classes. All of these practices complement and allow your body and mind to release tension and stress. So, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, my sessions cater to all levels, ensuring a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
